Kal's has tried a few different cuisines and all their food has been of the highest standard. Now they've settled on fried chicken and, as always, their burgers, wings and tenders are just amazing. The Tenders & Fries meal is particularly great value. I must highlight two things they do which are up there as among the best I've had anywhere: always buy the gravy, it transforms the meal; if you like hot sauce, their Scotch Bonnet hot sauce is the real deal. Exceptional
Great fried chicken burgers, wings, strips and fries, the buffalo sauce is great. Wings were nice but a little small, everything else was great and the staff and great too. It would also be good if they did a larger amount of wings or strips with a cheaper price the more you order.
Chicken burger was good. But the chickens wings were swimming in oil, like why they were served like this I don’t know. Order loaded fries which were just frozen fries, drenched in sauce and some strange “cheese” Really disappointed as the burger was fine but the rest let it down
EXCEPTIONAL chicken sandwich! Went here last night and shared 2 burgers with a mate. Service was excellent, the woman serving me offered to cut the burgers in half and placed half of each one in the basket for us. Chicken was juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The spicy one was just the right amount of heat for chilli lovers, and the chorizo jam was spot on. I can’t recommend this place enough, excellent addition to the Holmfirth dining scene. I’ll recommend to anyone who will listen!
By far and away, THE BEST chicken burger I've ever had. Super tender chicken, perfect crisp to the coating and an unbelievably delicious sauce. Seriously good, I cannot recommend Kal's enough. Thank you!
