This lovely little restaurant, facing the river, was an absolute pleasant surprise for us, a hidden gem in Holmfirth. Delicious and well presented food was served with care and pride, and this despite one person only doing everything, from taking the orders to bring food & drinks. Someone might have not shown to work that day, but our experience was still a very positive one.
Really nice calmi surroundings. Attentive and friendly staff. Obvious that a lot of attention waa paid to ingredients and sourcing and the food was all freshly prepared by an experienced chef. The drinks menu was good too — the beer is brewed on site and was very good. I had a lovely relaxing evening.
Lovely small plates restaurant. Visited twice now - once for dinner and once for the lunch menu (snack, main and drink for £15) and have been very impressed with all the food. Friendly staff and nice setting.
Have visited Nowhere on a number of occasions and we have always experienced outstanding food. I love the changes to menu based on the seasons. Small plates gives you an excuse to try and share lots of different dishes, if you do choose to visit make sure you are aware of this concept - you won’t get a large plate of food here. The staff are knowledgeable about portions and how many to order. I recommend you try the salad they have on offer as well as the halloumi. Dishes do tend to change based on availability so we take that into consideration when choosing out booking time, popular dishes tend to run out the later on in the evening.
Absolutely amazing food and beer. Stumbled across this place by chance and could not have been happier. The food was exquisite and the staff were outstandingly accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend the muscles and pork belly and make sure you get the potatoes on the side! DOV: 11/01/2025
