I want to start by saying that my biggest fear in life has always been my lack of self-confidence. For years, it was completely destroyed because of the facial hair on my chin. As a woman, I didn’t know where to start or who to turn to. I googled permanent hair removal and was overwhelmed by everything that came up. The thought of having to grow the hair in order to treat it absolutely terrified me. Then one day, I had a moment of realisation: “Do I really want to turn 30 next year still dealing with this? Within minutes of meeting Dawn, I felt completely at ease. She shared her own experience openly, even showing me photos of herself. Before I knew it, my scarf was off — it felt like I’d known her for years. I walked out of that consultation, full chin of hair and all, with more confidence than I’d had in a very long time. I remember thinking, “Wow… I’ve never spoken about this. Not even to my partner.” I started treatment in March 2025. It’s now December 2025… and my chin is almost completely bald. I will turn 30 without a “woman beard”! The process truly works — but you have to commit to it: keeping up with your routine, respecting the timing between appointments, and following the aftercare. Dawn is an incredible person who has clearly found her passion. She helps people remove unwanted hair permanently not just as a professional, but as someone who genuinely understands what it feels like. She’s just a girl sharing her experience and using it to change lives.

Dawn is wonderful - she balances friendly and professional so well, and is really passionate about what she does. I came to Holme Electrolysis feeling at my lowest about my problem but Dawn made me feel so comfortable and gave me hope. I’ve just finished 8 sessions with Dawn on the Ultra Tesla Chair and I can honestly say it’s made such a difference. From the start Dawn explained everything really clearly, so I knew exactly what to expect, and she always made me feel comfortable and at ease. The results have been brilliant – I’ve noticed a real improvement in my pelvic floor health and a big reduction in stress incontinence. I’d definitely recommend Dawn and the Ultra Tesla Chair to anyone thinking about it – it really does work, and Dawn is so supportive and professional throughout.

Really lovely seeing Dawn. Explains the process very well and clearly good at what she does. Was anxious about getting electrolysis for the first time but she made it less scary. As someone wirh it, i would reccomend Dawn if you're looking for an autism friendly practitioner, good experience and the weighted blanket and stims available to help was very nice!

I have been coming to Dawn a few months now for hair removal and I could not be more pleased with her service. I can see a marked reduction in the hairs which has really boosted my confidence and peace of mind. I have never seen anyone display this much professionalism while simultaneously making you feel so at home and comfortable and normal. I have tried other practitioners on my hair removal journey and can say Dawn is the best and she really takes pride in her work. Excellent consultation, she doesn’t pluck the hairs and then offers advice for aftercare. She is some distance from me but her service is worth every mile and every penny! I could not recommend her enough. The one thing I would say is trust the process the hairs will not disappear overnight and if you stick to your plan (which she will design) you won’t be disappointed.
