It's so refreshing to find an honest garage with genuine people that want to help. My experience was incredibly positive, communication was excellent. We will be back. Fair prices and honest feedback. Did work that was necessary and advised on others. Excellent.

The only garage we now use, it’s honest and trustworthy and we’ve never had an issue. We recently purchased a used vehicle from the garage in great condition too, any work needed to be done is to be completed on their behalf. After travelling to different garages with hard sales and clear faults I checked Holmfirth Garage daily for a car that fit us as I knew it would be perfect. Really can’t fault them!

My son and I recently made a trip over from Oldham to Holmfirth Garage, for him to purchase a car. Sean, the owner, kindly stayed back till after 6pm to give us chance to finish work and travel over. Right from the offset, it became apparent to me that this isn't your usual run of the mill business. No pressure selling, no garbage sales chat, just down to earth honesty and openness. They were a few minor issues with the car, that needed attention, after all it was a used car that was being purchased, so this could only be expected. The issues were resolved efficiently and to a high standard. Despite my son's eagerness, Sean made it clear, that the hand over would not take place, until HE was 100% happy with the car That in my opinion, is what sets Sean high above any of the other car sales people I have dealt with. He doesn't want a quick sale, he appreciates the expense of purchasing a car, and wants to sell you a vehicle in the best condition it could be in. Then and only then will he ask you for your signature and payment. I'm not at all surprised that the workshop was full of cars being repaired, and the MOT Centre was busy, people obviously appreciate a good business when they find one. I can't praise Sean and his lads enough, what a superb service. Twenty years in business speaks volumes. Both my son and I would definitely recommend Holmfirth Garage, thank you to all involved.

These guys are brilliant!! Took my electric mini 3 months out of bmw warranty with annoying noise on rear suspension - they sorted it within a few minutes on ramp and test drove it - thanks so much! BMW wanted £160 to “diagnose” the issue them further charge for repairs!! All it needed was a bit of lubricant!! I will continue using Sean and the guys to look after our cars
