This is the car restoration part of the Carding Shed. A really good place to visit , slightly quirky, friendly staff, plenty of light airy space, and I thought a good touch was the 50's music which added to the atmosphere.
Visited for an afternoon, and although cold outside the welcome was warm and welcoming. The Xmas market was small but the stalls were excellent. we especially liked the small tree garden sculptures and the cakes were amazing but oh so naughty lol 😆. Will definitely go again ....... but the main attraction were the older cars motorcycles and the memorabilia the tin plate signs and all the vintage exhibits were fantastic, showing my daughter the old Firestone Tyres metal advertising poster of the UK road network in the 1970's prior to the likes of the A11 or the A14 was amazing. The cafe was excellent, the food excellent, the service excellent. Disabled toilets are available and the main toilets were so clean and once again decorated in automobilia. You can view the garages which is great if any work is being carried out.. loved the visit and it's definitely worth a trip for a lazy afternoon.
I'd never heard of IK sports classic but it's well worth a stop off if you're in the area. Free to look around at some of the classic cars. The coffee was really good, I was tempted for a piece of cake, it looked ace, I just couldn't bring myself to spend £4.75 for a piece of it.
Nice old cars. It has a tea room but didn't go in .it did look good though. It killed half an hour .if you are into vintage cars im sure you will love it.
A gorgeous smell with well kept beautiful cars and an amazing workshop if I lived closer I would spend my days here
