Jack & Jill Removals

Recently used Jack & Jill removals on two occasions, once when emptying my home & moving it into storage & again 3 weeks later for bringing it to my new home. From Richards initial visit to assess what size storage unit I would need (75sq ft) to the last item being positioned in my new home, Lee and the team were exceptional. They used some heavy duty cling film to place on carpets to ensure they stayed clean. My ottoman bed was shrink wrapped so it didn’t open during transit/storage. My mattresses were bagged in large clear plastic bags. How they moved everything & fitted it into their van was done with care & precision. Costs were reasonable for the work involved & were communicated clearly from the start by Eloise. I highly recommend using Jack & Jill Removals for the removal & transportation of your possessions.

We used Jack & Jill for our recent house move as my wife had used them in the past. Whilst my original plan was to hire a van and do it myself I am so glad I took the plunge and got these guys instead. They were on the ball with an upfront assessment and quote with crystal clear communication. On the day they arrived ahead of schedule and packed the vehicles like a whirlwind!!! Their experience and optimised methods showed, all of our stuff was looked after and the van packed in a very methodical manner. The team were good guys and a pleasure to have around on such a stressful day!! Through the whole moving process Jack & Jill were the only stress free part! Can thoroughly recommend them if you are moving. Reasonably priced but very methodical and friendly.

Excellent packing and removals company. Jack and Jill were 5 stars throughout; from the initial call, house visit to quote, communication to book, packing and removals day itself. Richard, Paul, Lee and Ash packed our house efficiently and carefully. We were really impressed. Richard, Paul, Lee and Matt were all calm on the moving day and really made the process run smoothly. The team moved heavy outdoor planters and a number of plant pots too. Jack & Jill were also competitive on price. Overall, an excellent service and I would recommend. Thank you to all.

They say that moving home is in the top 5 of life's stressors. We can honestly say that our experience with Jack & Jill Removals has been quite the opposite. What a fantastic, family-run company; a company who in our opinion 'do business right'. Patrick and Eloise the owners, were so accommodating with complex arrangements; they were problem focused, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Richard who provided a quotation for the move, demonstrated wide ranging knowledge and empathy, providing advice and practical suggestions for the move day. The same Richard, along with Lee and Gareth, who carried out the move itself, could not have been more efficient, professional and personable. They were simply outstanding and worked brilliantly as a cohesive team. We were in awe of their spacial awareness and how they were able to navigate challenging and heavy, solid wood furniture including an upright iron-framed piano, around the tightest of spaces. The house, like many in the Holmfirth area, is on a narrow and windy road and the team manoeuvred vans in a manner that demonstrated respect for the local community and passing traffic. Nothing was too much trouble, and we encountered only smiles, politeness and genuine care throughout the whole day. It was lovely that Eloise spent the day with us too. Her interpersonal skills really helped in setting the scene for a calm, and in fact, a really quite pleasurable experience. The bottom line almost writes itself... We cannot recommend Jack & Jill Removals highly enough and wouldn't need to think about using them again, were the occasion to arise. A million thanks from Karen and I.

Ignore the Business name - I promise there's a person behind it - Eden! This team made moving effortless and enjoyable. Their confidence of the job, kindness and patience was endearing and reassuring. I think sometimes there's an assumption of the personalities that come with removal people and this team are the very opposite but in the best way possible. No laddy behaviour or "banter". Just lovely people who took care of us and our belongings. Already recommending you to friends and would use you again in a heart beat! P.s the fact they take your beds down, wardrobes and desk etc, and put them up for again is life changing!
