Indecently owned bookshop in holmfirth with something for everyone! I personally enjoyed their feminist selection and short stories. Went home with two books. They also have a loyalty system which I appreciated!

Such a lovely shop. First time visiting today and the guys helped me choose the perfect book gifts. Also had some really nice birthday cards so could get everything in one place. Thank you 😊

Excellent local Holmfirth independent bookshop. A warm welcome, super atmosphere and well stocked with super book choice. Advice, recommendations and reviews readily available. Great for children and adults. Most importantly Dog Friendly! I ordered a book by telephone and it was in store the next day. Really good service. It was a book on Puppy Training by the Dogfather. A very enjoyable read for both me and my avid pupil…although I think she might have nodded off at one point!! Thanks Paul

Louise and James helped us to source the perfect book as a gift for a family member, who absolutely loved it! They ordered it in for us and it was ready to collect within a couple of days. Couldn't recommend Read highly enough.
