Wow. Greeted buns friendly waitress. Apologised if there was a wait due to them being busy. Drinks came quickly and still 2 waitresses apologised for any delays. You could tell they genuinely cared about the business which was refreshing. Also the deluxe hot chocolate was delicious and used real cream (unlike most places). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very nice little café. We only stopped by for some breakfast and hot drinks, as we were just looking for small bites. The service was excellent, and when we paid, it turned out the owner herself took our payment. Even though the café was clearly full and busy, she made us feel very welcome and took the time to suggest things to see nearby and recommend places to eat. We followed her advice and ended up having a great meal at one of the places she recommended. Very friendly people – thank you!

We went to Beatties today for some lunch. We had our dog Flo with us so we weren't sure if we would be allowed in. They did let us in and we sat in the back room. The staff were lovely and made a fuss of flo, giving her dog biscuits and checking whether she needed water. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere is great. Thank you to all the ladies for making us and Flo feel very welcome.

We took part in Holmfirth first Tapas Trail last night (there are 2 more Nov 27 and Dec 11th). This allows the local restaurants to show off their food in miniature. Beatties was a popular choice for a reason. The food was fabulous, beautifully presented by smiling staff who were delighted to serve. I will be back very soon - excellent!
