A corner shop that doesn’t sell sanitary pads! A great shame for a shop that’s supposed to sell basic products. It’s almost as if women don’t make up half the population… Next shop 30 mins away on foot.

Just a simple store. Has a good amount in it tho. No one smiles but u get used to it. Lol i always stop there for a quick stop. If there isnt parking in front of the store there are spaces near by, it is on a busy residential street. So u can pop in and out and get what u need. From Sandwiches, ice cream, chocolate bars, energy drinks to vapes. Also a collection point for most delivery companies so pretty convenient place.

Absolutley disgusting pricing charging £4 for a bottle of coca cola what is convenient spending half of your wage

Only giving 1 star as theres no option to give none . Absolutely horrid people who own the shop. Missed several paper delivery’s to be told that their staff didn’t care and that it was my problem. Apparently their inability to deliver is my fault , not only that but if the agency that supplies them with the papers they sell miss off papers that’s also my fault . I’m also not to tell them when a papers missing so when I questioned how would they know that the paperboy didn’t deliver and so not to charge I was told they would just know????? Cancelled papers . Not commenting on the dirty state of the shop , I’ve never bought anything else from there. Update, the owner has now sent a letter, badly spelt in both upper and lower case saying that I was disrespectful when I challenged how they would know if a paper was not delivered if I was not supposed to let them know and that it’s still my fault/ responsibility if the agents from Wakefield don’t supply the papers to them or the paperboy doesn’t deliver the paper to me . 😳

Very helpful staff, always stocking products on request to suit my needs, also has a stock of some household essentials that has helped in an emergency, great local store.
