I just want to share my interaction with the staff of the shop today? I had a flat battery and went in to buy some jump leads and the lovely lady that worked there offered to go to her home 2 mins away to get her starter leads to help me on my way! Luckily the RAC we're on their way but I can't thank this lady enough for her kindness and empathy! What lovely people, so friendly and helpful. Just wanted to say a massive thank you !!

This shop is in the heart of Holmfirth and somewhat or a local institution. It's one of those places that you can buy single screws and receive proper advice and customer service. Spot on!

This little shop in Holmfirth is a bit of a blast from the past and always makes me think of the Two Ronnies 'fork handles' sketch. But it also fits it with the current trend of fixing and repairing things yourself. You can find all sorts of tools and fixings here, kitchen equipment, garden tools and ornaments. If you've got a DIY job to do around the house or garden it's worth stopping by. It's a great shop to have in the centre of Holmfirth

My elderly Uncle, has been shaving in a mirror lit by an equally elderly light fitting for the last 30+ years. Bulb has eventually gone and he couldn't find one the right size or fitting. He dropped the spent bulb off at Kayes and after a bit of searching they've tracked one down and as he's elderly and local, they're going to drop it off for him! Absolutely unheard of level of service in this day and age and very much appreciated by him and by me as I live in St Helens. Please continue to support this fantastic business 👏

Absolutely lovely staff. Called this morning to see if they were able to fix my sons scooter suitcase. The lady on the phone was very lovely and polite, told me to call in and see if it’s something they could do. As soon as I arrived a very happy smiley gentleman (I didn’t get his name sorry) was happy to help. He talked me through what he would do and managed to get it fixed super quick. Really happy with the service. Will definitely be going again if I need anything fixing! Thank you Handyman to you and your amazing super friendly staff!
