Holmfirth Vintage

A super vintage eclectic shop spread over two floors selling vintage home items and Ladies / Mens clothing. I had been looking for a wool mix winter coat for some time and was lucky to find two coats, one with a C&A label (this was a super quality store many moons ago when manufacturers made quality items). Had a super time going down memory lane with the homewhare items and remembering them from parents to grandparents era. All clothing is set out in different sections and currently winter coats / party type frocks hats and accessories. Friendly and helpful staff and at the time of writing there is a reduction if several items are purchased together.

Sadly you cannot give zero stars. Bought a pair of boots which didn't even last a full afternoon, the soles disintegrated and had to send a friend to Primark to buy me a pair of shoes so I could return home!!!!!!The owner told me this is what happens when you buy second hand and didn't offer a refund,so I guess I'll follow his advice and never buy from him again

Had a great visit. lots of interesting shops and good places to eat. Love the connection to Last of the summer wine. And the steep cobblestone streets. Good market. Well worth a visitg lots of parking spaces 👍

Bought a vintage scarf and lovely string of pearls from here yesterday, great shop and loved looking at the M&S st michael dresses remember these when I worked for the company 70's/80's. Will be back.

Bought a 'vintage 80's' lace party top for £30, recently discovered that it was infact a River Island top with the label cut out. I feel so scammed & cheated. I wanted vintage items in my wardrobe, not fast fashion sold at vintage prices. I loved the items in there, but now I know it's just tags cut out & inflated prices; I'll stick to Vinted. Where I found the exact same shirt. Sold for £5.
