As a couple we received a lot of help from our sessions with Mavra. We acquired tools that we can now use to navigate through daily struggles and have a new perspective on things. We learned to listen to our bodies and to one another better and try to apply all our learnings to better our selves as individuals and as a couple. We recommend Root Well-being Studio 100%.

Olivia’s new beginners ballet class at 11am on Sundays, is such a lovely thing to do on a Sunday morning . It’s an hour of mindfulness , to beautiful music while working the whole body. Olivia makes everyone feel welcome and happily adapts exercises to everyone’s ability . Defintely worth a try . The post work out coffee upstairs in the cafe is always a must too .

I’ve been seeing Mavra from Root Pilates for over two years. During this time I’ve had two total hip replacements. Mavra’s classes and one to one coaching sessions have significantly contributed towards my rehabilitation. Mavra’s knowledge and awareness of the body is incredible, she is the best Pilates practitioner I have ever come across. Mavra’s a gem and her thirst to further both her own knowledge and offer further opportunities to clients led to me participating in her Somatic classes which delve deeper into the link between our mind and movement. Again she was totally brilliant and insightful. I would certainly recommend Root Pilates !

I've recently completed a 4 week reformer course with Mavra which has really helped improve my technique. Going twice per week in a small group meant we have covered the basic moves through to the advanced ones but constantly being corrected if needed. The classes are always good fun and full of information I would definitely do another course.
