Visiting Hornsea called in for a drink, the bar was very quiet but the bar person totally ignored us and continued her conversation with someone over the bar. We left after waiting for 5 minutes. If tourist/visitors are not welcome this should be stated on the door.
The new Inn Hornsea. What can I say this was my first visit? Some pubs have that undefinable vibe about them. This is one of them. A good choice of beers, lagers, and cider. Including 3 hand-pulled cask, conditioned real ales, and in excellent condition when I visited. A nice big but cosy community pub. Pool table, good music, but not too loud. Very dog friendly with some very friendly dogs. Outside seating and large car park. A great pub highly recommended.
We came here at the start of the night 4pm. It was quite busy but you were able to get a seat and did not have to wait long to get served . Staff were friendly and very chatty which was nice. They had a good selection of drinks and it was reasonably priced ( four alcoholic drinks came to less than ÂŁ20 ). They had sports on TV and have a dart board in one part of the pub. Overall we had a really enjoyable time and will definitely be going back next time we visit.
Very good beer pub and the cheapest , no food but plenty of snack items, lovely south facing outdoor area looking towards the mere, dogs are welcome đź‘Ť
