I got a take away last night. The two hour wait was understood given it was New Year’s Eve but when the food arrived it was stone cold! Due to having 8 year old twins I did jot want to reheat it and the chips and nan bread would not have been nice reheated. I called the restaurant and was told all the orders came in at the same time! (Not really my problem). I asked them to come back and collect the food and requested a full refund. This was not done. They advised the refund would come from Just Eat. Just eat offered (at most) £23 refund towards the £66 that we spent on food we could not even eat. How is this acceptable?

We ordered a takeaway from here last night and it was outstanding. The lamb was melt-in-the-mouth tender, the onion bhajis perfectly spiced with a crisp golden exterior, and every dish was bursting with flavour. Absolutely flawless from start to finish.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and my Takeaway. Staff very friendly and informative. A very busy place for eating in and for Takeaways which is always a good sign. 5 Star Rating for hygiene. Food - a good selection, I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty for me, as well as Carnivores. They also do Vegan. Menu Flexibility - one of the regular customers waiting near me said they adjusted his meals so there was less fat. I found mine was not swimming in fat. Taste test - passed with flying colours. Waiting time - a long wait, but they were working through a lot of customers in the main Restaurant, telephone and people coming in for Takeaway Orders. I felt they dealt with people fairly and in good order. My Takeaway was checked to ensure I had everything before I left. Access - 1 steep step in, toilets on the same level, but door and turning for wheelchair users not too good. Car parking - car park across the road and nearby on street parking. There are a few unofficial places on the pavement in front of the shop for those collecting. Refurbishment - they are going to refurbish the whole place sometime this year. My order: Veg Byriani, Bhindi (Okra, beautifully cooked), Stuffed Peshwari Naan (would have liked a little more stuffing) and Onion Raita. I will certainly go again.

Well we really enjoyed our meal, and from the sound of It, so did everyone else. The restaurant was busy but service was prompt. We are new to Hornsea and we will be returning again - tasty.
