This place is easy to overlook with so many lovely eateries in Hornsea, I cannot extol it enough, the quality of the food and service is 5star, staff are so kind and friendly, Tara especially made both meals over the weekend memorable, the family who run it cannot do anymore to please...one last thing the rack of lamb is absolutely delicious
Never had a bad meal from here. In fact have never had a bad experience here. When I say have never had a bad meal, I mean they have always been excellent. It's also nice that there is a change in some of the beers etc, rather than just the, same ones all the time.
really nice staff. quiz night on weds too which we missed as needed to leave early. we made mistake of getting steak dinner, when should have got the rack of lamb. steak was a bit tasteless whereas guests who ate the lamb left clean plates. had pate starter with soggy reheated frozen garlic bread…just a normal toast would have been fine.

Can't praise it enough. Really good meal. My husband had lamb and I had pork, both meals were really good. We both had Bailey and Hazel nut roulade, he had cream and I was rather cheeky and asked if I could have Baileys poured over mine. That's exactly what I got. Quite a small place, staff lovely and polite. The whole thing was less then £20 for both of us.
