Really good breakfast. Been trying to find somewhere that does a good quality big breakfast for a few weeks and this was something else! Really good options, used proper ingredients and cooked to perfection. Brilliant little find. The below cost £20.90 which in my opinion is fantastic value.
The Green Owl is a great cafe bar. There is a very large selection of draught beers lager and cider including three cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales which were in excellent condition on our visit. There is also a large cocktail menu. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is a nice covered outside seating area. We went to see the live music, the band, The Ekoes were excellent. It's a lively bar definitely worth visiting.
The most flavoursome breakfast I've had since- I can't remember! Absolutely beautiful. Never fancy a coked breakfast but smelled divine. Gorgeous mushrooms of all things! Gorgeous coffee! They catered to my daughters needs efficiently even when I forgot to order her food and she was sat waiting for mine 🤦♀️🤣 best milkshake ever she said! She tried something new - French toast - very filling - had half and EVEN tried the salad - she knew it looked that good! I ate the rest - second breakfast- who cates? Gorgeous! Great service and really warm and cosey! Not bad for a impulse brekky while driving by! Very clean toilets and accessible too! Thank you
There are lots of cafes in Hornsea but this is definitely the best one that we’ve tried. It’s obviously very popular with locals and visitors as it was pretty busy on what was a quite dull day. The coffee was good and my gluten free chocolate cake was delicious: light, moist and so chocolatey! My husband’s toasted teacake looked so tasty! There’s seating outside but we opted to sit inside near the bar which gave us a great view of the huge cocktail menu. Thank you very much to the lovely staff who looked after my backpack-it was an hour before I realised that it wasn’t on my back 🤷♀️😹 I am often a solo traveller and would feel very comfortable to visit the Green Owl again. Highly recommended!
This is my favourite cafe, all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming as are the customers, always good for a chat. Food is great and well priced, the breakfast is superb as are the lunches. The chefs are very flexible and cater for every need. The cappuccino is the best this side of the Colosseum. ☕️😊
