Greenway Stores

Used this store for years. It's never been the same since Jean left. It's now a couple that run it. The guy is very pleasant and always happy to help customers, the woman on the other hand is a very rude, abrupt and argumentative lady. She serves customers whilst she is on the phone talking and just holds her hand out for money and doesn't say please or thankyou. It's like it's such a big hassle to deal with customers for her. It's never bothered me enough to right a review until today when she argued with me about an item I'd bought from the shop and tried to return it for refund due to it being unfit for consumption. The lady told me to contact the manufacturer, not her and accused me of tampering with said item (bottle of milk) because it was open. The milk had white bits floating in it and she tried to tell me it was fine to drink because it was in date. I showed her photos of my drink (with bits) and she still refused to believe there was anything she could do. After a few exchanged words, she eventually gave me a refund and told me not to buy milk there again. I'll do one better than that, I won't use that shop EVER again and certainly wouldn't recommend it as I have done before. Your customer service is appalling and your attitude towards your regular local customers needs some work.

I have just had the most horrible experience in this shop. I tried to return an evri parcel and the owners are the rudest people I have ever come across in a shop. I ended up leaving without completing my return. The woman was so annoyed that I asked her to open the second door so I could get my pram in, then demanded I shut the door because she was cold. Then she complained about how I shut the door. She started shoutung at me telling me to go while her husband stood staring aggressively at me, all in front of my baby. I tried to complete my return anyway because I had no alternative, but I felt so uncomfortable I had to leave. Overall a horrible experience I wouldn't wish on anyone, just because I had to ask to open the door to get my pram in. Will never return to this hostile place.

I had to return a parcel to Evri and hadn't been in this shop before. The lady who served me was very nice and if I hadn't been in a hurry to go on somewhere I would have liked to look round the shop to see what it had to offer. I will go back another time.
