Number Train

Number Train is simply the best pre school class we've been to. I took my eldest a few years ago and he was so excited to attend every week, especially eager to learn what the theme was for the week, the space and superhero week were his firm favourites. We enjoyed it so much, we signed my youngest son up when the time came. He loves it as much as his older brother! It's been so lovely to see his confidence grow week by week and he loves showing off his knowledge of numbers in class and at home. Annette is a true pro, you can see how passionate she is about Number Train and my both my boys absolutely adore her. Highly recommend!

Numbertrain was absolutely fantastic for both of my children. They are now at primary school and high school and absolutely love maths! It gave them so much confidence and they didn’t even realise it was educational as it was so much fun! Annette was the perfect train driver and we loved the energy she brought to each session, while getting to know each child and working out ways to include and involve everyone. I’m so glad to see how her business is going from strength to strength. If you are on the fence about attending this class with your child, hop off and climb aboard the numbertrain! I’ve tried all the preschool classes over the years with both children and this is by far head and shoulders above the rest!!

My little one started Number Train around 1-2 months ago. She’s 2.5 years old and I have already noticed her picking up key maths skills. Recently Annette introduced the concept of pairs - the week later my daughter was helping with putting laundry away and she picked out two matching socks and said “look mama it’s a pair”! I was so proud of her and can honestly say this is due to the brilliance of the class. Delivering key maths skills through play and song has engaged her curious mind and it is a joy to watch her every week. Truly one of the best classes in Leeds! Thank you Annette for everything you do, we love our Thursday mornings with you.

From the first session Hugo and I were made to feel very welcome. Everything is so well explained to the children with Annette ensuring that all the children are included in every activity without pushing them to do something they don’t want to do. Hugo looks forward to his Thursday Number Train with Grandma and tells his mummy and daddy all about it when he gets home, this is also helped by Annette sending an email every week after the session explaining what the children were learning. A truly lovely atmosphere making learning fun.

We've been doing number train for the last year. We started just as my son turned 3 and his confidence with numbers, basic fractions, sizing, ordering etc is amazing. Not only is he learning, but he has an absolute ball and is genuinely excited to go each week, spending the journey there discussing where we might be going on the train that day. Its the perfect preschool class, balancing fun and learning brilliantly. Couldn't recommend it highly enough
