The two lads behind the Bar tonight Ralph and Josh were outstanding, atmosphere was lacking but they really made our visit, a little pricy but aren’t all the pubs these days.

It was quiet when I was there but it has been refurbished well and I am sure the atmosphere will be great certainly for sports enthusiasts. Welcoming man behind the bar. Felt good go there you won't be disappointed far from it.

What an experience, went there for some beers with some pals excited to play some darts. After one of the darts fell off the board and was damaged I returned to the bar apologized these things happen especially when play darts. I was then set upon by someone at the bar who had been drinking previously ( I assumed he was the manager but had to ask him to confirm, no room for niceties here!) I was told I would have to pay for the darts at a cost of five pounds. Initially I was just plain annoyed at the fact that not one person had informed me this was policy and this was the cost. After explaining this the so called manager said to me ' You seem like a nice guy so its only 5 pounds for you, normally it would be a tenner.' FOR 1 BLOODY DART !! What is it ? where is the pricing, who makes these rules and who informs customers of this. Are all customers offered this lovely discounted offer ? Well I couldn't refuse and felt the only decent thing to do here was to pay up just to solve the unnecessary aggro. The manager then decides to inform me that if I hadnt paid he would have chopped up any card that was given to obtain the darts in the first place !! Charming. My associate came over to see what was going and and was instantly dismissed for being aggressive. I wont be returning again. Bang average lagers, dull atmosphere, uncomfortable chairs and very very fragile darts.

Shocking experience I came in and apparently your not allowed to wear sertain clothes which was never a rule before now if came in in tracksuit bottom and was told I’m not allowed in with tracksuit bottom where as another person was in in tracksuit bottoms and because was taller and more built and because it was a different brand of tracksuit bottoms when on rules it’s said NO TRACKSUITS which would go to all categories of tracksuit bottoms when such as brands never mind the bouncer ASSAULTING people and physically using brute force throwing people from the step into the air straight on to the path never mind the injuries he could cause I am ashamed with the quality especially with the bouncer as my dad was a bouncers for years on end and dealt reasonable with very very serious cases. HOPEFULLY the bouncer loosest his license due to assault and brutal forces without reason cause he cart take a customers imput without physical touching
