Absolutely love, love, love this place!! I've been loads of time already and will keep going back! It’s one of those rare places that instantly feels special the moment you walk through the door. Not only is the venue itself beautifully put together, but the staff and artists make it truly phenomenal. The team are so warm, friendly, kind and genuinely fun; you’re greeted like an old friend every single time, which makes such a difference. Admittedly, I guess it can easily become that way when you make yourself known by dancing and singing like nobody's watching, but that's just me 😂 And the artists – wow. The talent here is on another level. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into what they do, and the results speak for themselves. The atmosphere is electric, full of positive energy and laughter. There’s always a brilliant buzz about the place, helped along by fabulous music that sets the perfect tone. It's the kind of spot where you go, just planning to stay for a short while and end up not wanting to leave. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. 💛

Lovely addition to town street, great music and the atmosphere makes it a lovely place to go day or night. The bar team are always happy, helpful & friendly. Beer garden /smoking area needs a bit of tlc it’s a bit too rustic.

Lovely place, staff and atmosphere, went in to play pool and enjoy a Guinness.

Outstanding. Went in on Christmas Eve as a visitor to Horsforth after a meal there. Absolutely great atmosphere, staff, music. Loved it. Will now be happy to travel here regularly as nothing like it in my locality.

On Friday we went out with 2friends for a meal and then decided to stop off at Thomas Hardys for a quick drink. We have been before and always had a good experience, however this time I was bitterly disappointed by the attitude of the manager. We had a couple of drinks and I went back to the bar for our round and was told by the manager he would not serve my wife. When I asked why he stated that she had been staggering when going to the toilet. When we stated that this was not the case, he was adamant and continued to refuse service. My wife was greatly upset. In our. Opinion she was not intoxicated to the point she could not walk, and in fact when she came back from the toilet she continued to dance with other customers to the music of the live band. When my friends wife attempted to talk to the manager she was met with aggression and stubborness. Our friend tried to buy a drink for my wife and this resulted in both their drinks being confiscated and our friend was asked to leave. At this point we all decided to leave and spent the rest of the evening in a pub down the road where we had no issues at all. I am saddened and disappointed as we thought we had found our new local. We certainly won’t be going back and will tell all our friends about the experience. This is shame as the rest of the staff and the live music are great.
