4/05. Another visit, this time for the brewery tour and tasting! Fantastic to chat with Mark about the business and learn about the beer making process! Highly recommend! Love this tap room. Great beer, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Super to have the outside space too. And even better that I can walk here!
We recently booked the taproom for a 40th birthday do and had such a great experience. We know the venue well already so we knew it would be a good choice but some of the extra touches like helping connect us with street food vendors for catering and making sure we had the birthday boys fave beer on tap and cans in the fridge was massively appreciated. Jenni was super helpful and responsive in organising everything beforehand and made sure we were all sorted on the day too. Really recommend for a cosy vibe with lots of tasty beers ofc - thanks so much taproom team!
Lovely little brewery, amazing outdoor space, fantastic selection of ales, absolutely love the community vibe and thoughtful work going on here. Also if you are stuck for Christmas gifts they do fantastic ale boxes. Great service too. Thankyou Joe. Highly recommend.
The flyingest of flying visits made me wish I could stay longer but I'm glad it was there for me in my hour of need. After a couple of days away I headed back Leeds way for an evening meeting, but needed somewhere to while away a short amount of time - somewhere with a toilet and a table to put my laptop on. And thankfully my extensive knowledge of taprooms and penchant for a beer paid off yet again: I posted up in @horsforthbrewery @horsforth_tap. Along the main street in Horsforth you'll find a door. Through the door you'll find a stairway. Down the stairway you'll find a beer garden. And just off the beer garden you'll find another door. A door to the Horsforth Brewery Taproom where beery wonders await. On this occasion I plumed for Trinity, an American pale on cask, which was right up my street. I also tried a half of Brew Order, a keg NEIPA which was also good, but for me a good modern pale on cask always wins the day. There was plenty else to try which was the source of much disappointment to me given that I couldn't stick around. And on top of all the keg and cask beers there was a fridge full of cans from the great and good of the UK beer scene. Let's not forget the friendly welcome and the bustling atmosphere. I took my pictures just a few moments before the place really filled up. It's clearly the perfect local hangout and by the looks of it the full calendar of events really draws in the punters. I know I always say it, but this really is a place I'd like to return to. I can just imagine hunkering down for an afternoon, preferably with some good company, and a few more of Horsforth's excellent beers.
A lovely brewery with a great selection of drinks... and whoever was working late last night literally saved my life - allowing me to find my coat (which had my keys and wallet in) after closing, I don't know your name but please(!) know she deserves a SUBSTANTIAL Christmas bonus - Horsforth Brewery has a fan for life π
