Marples is a lovely shop full of a huge selection of different chocolates, sweets and treats! Everything I've had from there tastes great and Bob, the owner, is a brilliant guy who always provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Been going to marples for what must be 5+ years and it never disappoints. They have a wide selection of very nice chocolates, sweets and ice cream. Also Bob is so nice and delivers a personal service if you’re a new or old customer and he somehow always remembers people’s name. Would absolutely recommend checking this place out for if you haven’t already.
This is a lovely little traditional sweet shop, with a wide variety of treats on offer. There's something for everyone here, including scoop ice cream for allergy sufferers/vegans. I recently pre-ordered 20 lucky bags for my child's birthday. They were absolutely stunning! So many parents from the party told me afterwards that they'd now be getting their party bags from Marples too. The shop owner is very friendly and remembers his customers. Definitely a lovely, local shop that we will be visiting again and again!
Bob is always friendly & has a cheery smile for all his customers, new & old. His range covers vegan & non-vegan alike. Every time you go in, there's new things for sale. Great gifts & little treats for all members of the family with a sweet tooth! For such a small shop, I've no idea how he does it!!!
I shop at Marples regularly and always have a wonderful experience. Bob gives a very personal friendly service and wraps our chocolates beautifully, making perfect gifts.
