Visited with my husband on a Sunday evening, it was quiet but very welcoming. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was great but the main course was outstanding! Chom Chom Balti just as described on the menu. We will definitely be going again.
Eaten in here once before but also had a few takeaways and it's fantastic. The curries are all very flavoursome, and the starters and sundries are also fantastic. The service both in the restaurant and from the delivery driver is always fantastic and it's amazing value for money. Couldn't recommend Graeme any more highly!
I live locally but this is the first time I've ever been to Grameen, and the experience did not disappoint; food and service were 5 star! We had starters and mains, and the food was delicious. My partner ordered the hottest curry on the menu which he thoroughly enjoyed, I ordered the Nawabi Tava which was cooked to perfection; and everything from scratch. We will definitely come back again.
On a cold Thursday evening went to Grameen with 2 friends. No other diners there. Had popadums with choice of 5 on pickle tray. Starters:I had Sheek kebab, friends had pakora and onion bhajis. Very nice, but no salad provided. Mains:chicken biryani and 2 chicken tikka masala. Plenty, but nothing special. Had a Peshwari naan which was v nice. Service good. Over all good, but lacking atmosphere. No alcohol license.
5* Service was brilliant, really nice lads and looked after us. 4* The curry was really nice but the chicken was long strips and awkward to eat with chapattis. I'm used to "Bradford" style curries so might be something I've not come across. 4* for atmosphere some of the music was a bit obnoxious but honestly didn't ruin the night or anything. Going to go back again it's now on my list. Edit: went back again 6 months later. Chicken issue has gone away. Just normal pieces. Also the music wasn't too bad this time. So more than happy to keep going. Attached photos are from this second visit.
