168 Chinese Takeaway

Sent wrong food, cold, rude on the phone when asked for our food, missed items off of order. Sent something completely different when supposed to be beef curry and won’t be ordering again from there. It was discusting and been violently sick 🤢🤮 The photo is what we was given and that was not beef curry and have no idea what it is. Taking it to food and hygiene as it is absolutely appauling and when the beef curry eventually came he left it on doorstep and ran down the street.

Shouldn’t have opened up after the month off they’ve had!! Please please do not order from this takeaway!!! We have been going to them for years yet because of tonight we won’t ever again. Last night we ordered from them as they had been shut for over a month and we were so excited. They missed a drink from our order last night but we didn’t mind as we loved the food from there. Tonight we ordered again and they messed it all up. Firstly the chicken chow mein they sent looked like lumpy soup. Looked so inedible. Then we 100% ordered 3 portions of salt and pepper chips but they sent 3 normal chips. So we rang up and straight away they had their back up demanding that we were in the wrong. We stated over and over again if we had wanted normal chips we’d have put them in the air fryer!! We specifically love their salt and pepper chips. They were absolutely adamant we didn’t order it correctly. They then hung up the phone. So I called back and asked if they wouldn’t hang up on me, tried to explain to them that we had definitely ordered correctly. The man who I spoke to was so so rude to me. Then when I asked more questions he just wouldn’t answer and was staying silent??🤣 I them said please don’t hang up and all of a sudden he just said “I’m not hanging up yet” so so strange. Then passed me on to a woman and she was so blunt demanding that I pay the £6 difference when they were in the wrong. She was bloody awful too. Then hung up. On top of all of this there was hairs in the food. I cannot believe they’ve been shut for a month and in that month the food has gone tragically down hill and the customer service has become a joke. Horrible takeaway. Would give 0 stars if I could.

We ordered salt pepper chicken, s/p chips, curry sauce, pekking spare ribs and egg fried rice. It was delicious and well enough for 2 people. We will be ordering from here again! Thank you.

Shouldn’t have re-opened after being shut. Didn’t get order right, chicken and veg was slimey, OK sauce was just a bbq sauce and chicken fried rice was just bland. Service was awful when rang about incorrect order, tried to say he confirmed the order when he didn’t so tried to blame us for him not confirming their mistake then just ignored us when explaining, tried to charge us for their mistake and hung up when they didn’t want us to show how they’re wrong. Absolute waste of time and money. Go to New Ho Garden on Lickless Drive instead, loads better food and service.

First time at this place and certainly last time! Delivery time not bad at all only waited around half hour. Food appalling, Cold, Curry sauce was so think and tasted of powder had to use knife to go around edge of container then it fell out in one go. Chips hard but yet bag was soaked with steam from when they was packed and then waiting. (Cold ) Meat in special fried rice was tough and chewy. (Cold) Spring rolls had exploded that bad so was flat and no filling. (Cold)
