My daughter loved her first experience of Asia with bubble tea, foreign sweets and bao buns. She loved everything about it and keeps on asking me when she can go back. From an adults perspective the price was great, the staff were kind and knowledgeable and I loved the coffee. Although the condensed milk is a sugary treat. Overall, I highly recommend for a different experience.
So impressed with the quality of Bao Buns. I will be a regular here without doubt! Oh and the spicy cauliflower was amazing too.
If you're looking for authentic bubble tea, this isn't the place. The tapioca was NOT fresh. The texture was like hard jelly, instead of being soft and chewy. The chocolate milk tea tasted like it was cacao powder mixed with water, that's it. The vanilla jasmine milk tea had an overwhelming taste of artificial vanilla without the jasmine essence. We didn't expect much considering the demographic is mainly school kids, but we did expect more than we got. Really sad as this is the closest place to us, but definitely not the same standard as those in Hyde park or city center. Two stars because the staff were nice. Didn't try the food.
Me and my best friend always come here 🤭We both love it here, there are so many options for Boba (I recommend the peach, mango and taro!) And they're all priced really good! The Bao buns are delicious, they're always served fresh and warm! Also the interior is also so cute! Love it here!! 10/10 place, definitely recommend trying it out! 🩷
This is the place to go for your ultimate milkless milk tea experience! Read other reviews with similar criticisms. The owner of Boba & Bao is consistently very defensive. An honest trader would simply thank customers for their feedback and promise to learn and improve the service.
