We had a lovely time at this cafe. The atmosphere and staff are lovely, they couldnt do enough for us. The decor is really fun and everything is clean. We really had a lovely time but unfortunately the food is a let down. Nothing was home made all bought from the local supermarket. It was just a little disappointing. Plenty of food and what was there was ok , it's just a shame it was all pre bought packaged stuff . Be aware it's a spiral staircase to the seating area.
I went for a festive afternoon tea with my family on 6th December 2025. I was hugely impressed with the quality and variety of food, and the price was very reasonable. The team worked so hard and nothing was too much for them. I also loved all the Christmas and themed decor. I would recommend anyone who wants a lovely time out to visit Mad Hatters. It really is a fantastic tearoom.
We went last Saturday as an early morning treat for the kids. My partner had been before and she said it was lovely and it was. Decor is very nicely done with lots of little AiW touches to see. Very helpful staff who will do anything to make sure your short stay is as pleasant as possible. For example I saw a burger on the menu and asked if I could have it with bacon, the response was, you can have what you want, nice. The burger came out with a side of chips and were quite delicious, really sets you up for the day as we were quite full up after eating. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever around the area.
Amazing decor with great Christmas touches and loads of Alice stuff to look at. Staff were wonderful and let me swap mushrooms for extra hash browns and I even got extra an extra vegan sausage on the house! Portions were large and displayed lovely with separate bowls for beans and tomatoes etc. Price was very reasonable🫶🏻 I would 100% recommend.
What a great little spot! The food was super fresh with really generous portions and everything tasted amazing. The service was fantastic and the owner was so lovely and welcoming. It’s such a fun and quirky cafe, perfect for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Definitely worth a visit!
