Smile Clinic North Leeds

First appointment with my boy today. Receptionist was absolutely lovely! Professional and efficient. Really well spoken and a super kind manor. Had initial appt. My boy I'd really nervous but they had him comfortable and laughing. They then offered the follow on specialist appt there and then as ge was on sight that day. So time, journey and appt saved with an extra 10 minute wait! All in all agreed first experience for a really nervous kid, who now isn't so bothered about going back!

Very disappointed with our experience at Smile Clinic North Leeds. My son attended for a very brief appointment to replace a retainer, yet we were made to wait over 40 minutes. After I politely queried the delay, we were deliberately moved to the back while other patients were seen first. The senior dentist, Mr Sharma, then spoke to me in a belittling and confrontational manner in front of a full waiting room, telling us to leave if we did not want to wait and stating, “It’s the NHS — go and find another NHS dentist if you can.” This was intimidating and inappropriate, particularly in front of my child. We were also wrongly accused of being late, despite waiting nearly 10 minutes to sign in. I was asked to pay upfront before my son was seen and was not provided with a receipt at that time. Dental settings should be safe and reassuring environments for children. Instead, this experience was intimidating and traumatic, and my son is now anxious about returning for the retainer fitting. The practice urgently needs to reflect on its approach to patient care, communication, and safeguarding.

Orthodontists are great and good clean practice. Reception staff very rude and abrupt can be stood at reception with very awkward silences for quite some time, or they will take a call whilst you are stood waiting. No apology given. Calling to arrange appointments you’re interrupted and there is a real lack of listening skills. Requires more professional reception staff.

We have just completed my son’s orthodontic journey at Smile Clinic North Leeds and we couldn’t be happier with the results! His braces have come off, and the transformation is amazing he is absolutely thrilled with his new smile. The team at Smile Clinic North Leeds has been fantastic throughout the entire process. From the initial consultation to the final appointment, they have been professional, supportive, and always happy to answer our questions. The care and attention they gave my son really put us at ease, and appointments were always prompt and well-managed. A big thank you to everyone at the clinic for making this such a positive experience. Highly recommend to anyone considering orthodontic treatment!

The team at Smile have been amazing from start to finish. My son had braces fitted 18 months ago and both Sandy and Damien have been exceptional. Each visit we have been treated professionally, kept informed and made to feel so welcome. Their knowledge, expertise and warm approach have been fantastic. His brace was removed and his teeth look fantastic. We can't thank the team enough !
