Fieldhead Surgery

The 3.6 r​ating is, from my experience, generous. Receptionists are obstructive, arrogant, cold and uncaring. Blase about being asked for their complaints procedure, so they are clearly used to brushing off the concerns of their service users. Google should add a skull and crossbones rating for surgeries like this one.

Great surgery. Had a few blood tests and appointments lately. Even when I had to move my appointment at the last minute due to a clash they got me an appointment same day and we’re bang on time. Great service.

I can appreciate the doctors but the appointment times are always 3-4 weeks ahed also when you eventually get an appointment you have to wait 10 minutes over the appointment squedual in my opinion there's a lack of organisation

Love this GP. Best I've used since living in various spots around Leeds! Every member of staff is lovely, they actually take the time to listen. Their integration with the NHS app is great as well - I am able to send message requesting prescriptions and information. It does take time to get appointments sometimes, but that's indicative of an overall issue with healthcare around the country I think. Hopefully that can improve over time.

My Mother and I have always found this Surgery (which is part of Craven Road Medical Practice) to be very good. The telephone/ reception staff are great. The Nurses and Phlebotomist are great too, although some Nurses have left this year. The GP's are as good as they can be for 10 minute appointments and it is hard for them to be aware of every caveat regarding drug prescriptions. There are more Female Doctors than Male. I wouldn't be surprised if this Practice is incentivised to prescribe Statins.
