Have been multiple times and output varies massively. Today’s visit I tried two of the four and could only get max 38kw! In short, not reliable if you preparing for a long journey, unless you have hours to kill waiting for a charge, but would then be caught out by their max 60min parking restriction on the site.
Handy location, but it turns out that the lrft 2 chargers have a maximum charge rate of 25kw per hour on ccs, whilst the right pair are 150kw per hour. Shell might like to make this more obvious as I expect that CCS charing folk might want faster especially with the 1 hour maximum stay time.
2 of the chargers were not working which delayed me getting my car on charge which I didn’t realise would be a big issue until I spotted the 1 hour max charge time!!! I quickly disconnected even though I had only charged for 51 minutes and was still not fully charged but I didn’t want to risk a £60 fine as I knew I had been there longer trying to get the 2 other chargers to work.
If had car that's electric i would use this place ,but my car is ⛽️ diesel
Everything worked as expected.
