From the first time i spoke to Jack at Slaters I found him efficient, knowledgeable & very calming which was very extremely helpful at such an emotional & stressful time. We all felt happy to put our Dad in such capable & friendly hands. Jack was on the ball & always reachable with any queries we had. Our Dad was quite quirky so Jack helped us choose the perfect & appropriate service, we had a Yorkshire Wool coffin, an unusual Order of Service & instead of top hats the drivers & Jack wore flat caps & ties from Dads bright tie collection. Jack arranged for family to see Dad at the Chapel of Rest, this could have been a very emotional & difficult visit but Jack made everyone feel comfortable & Dad was well dressed & beard trimmed beautifully. Jack recommended a great Celebrant Carl Keeting who was perfect for our needs, he listened to us talk about Dad at our pre service meetings & then gave a service that was fitting & amusing in the right places, just as Dad would have wanted it. I would highly recommend Slaters, your loved ones will be in good hands. 💜

We have used Slaters of Horsforth twice and both times have received exceptional service. Jack Kelly is so kind and considerate and really tries his utmost to provide exactly what he is asked to do. The level of respect he gives to both the deceased and their family is second to none. He is a credit to his profession.

Jack and all the team at Slater's have been amazing at sorting all the arrangements for my Mum's funeral from start to finish. Jack sorted out a major complication regarding Mum's burial for which we will be forever grateful.
