Horsforth Post Office

Went in to deposit some money into the bank. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful & polite, and the entire transaction was quick & smooth. Only downside is that they don’t take Scottish bank notes, but not many places in England do.

I’ve been using this post office for years, and while most of the staff are consistently professional and helpful, my experience with Ali has been very negative. He has repeatedly been rude, dismissive, and rough when handling my parcels, even when they are marked FRAGILE. The behaviour has been ongoing for years and hasn’t improved despite a previous complaint. This makes visits unnecessarily stressful, especially since I use this branch daily for my business. The rest of the team deserve praise, but Ali’s attitude continues to bring the service down.

This post office doesn't even deserve one star. The entire post office is let down by a certain individual. The older man who works there with glasses. He's a complete and utter disgrace. I now avoid going to this post office even though it is the most local to me. Always getting OVERCHARGED. For instance, I asked to send a small parcel 2nd class untracked. He then charged me 1st class tracked delivery. He always lies and takes advantage of people. I had specifically asked for second class and he LIED telling me it is not an option. Seems to be such a regular thing with him overcharging customers. IF YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR POSTAGE IN STORE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS AS YOU WILL GET OVERCHARGED. I find it completely and utterly foul the attitude and huge lack of morals by this selfish, greedy individual.

Today I went there with my under age daughter to deposit money and there was a queue and I didn’t know if the queue was for both windows or not so I approach the banking window and the guy was there started to yell at me to get in the queue and I tried to apologise because I didn’t know but he was so angry and rude and didn’t stop yelling at me, so I just got back in the queue because my daughter got so afraid as he was yellin , we went to the car and my daughter started crying and I have to come here down and explain that not everyone in England like him and you are safe here as she just came to England last month, and now I just heard her crying in her room If anything happens to her mental health I will sue the post office and the guy who was yelling at us

I don't know if it's their fault, or just the fault of Royal Mail. But I went in to post a parcel abroad (Expecting to pay approximately £50ish) and they wanted me to pay £81.00 to post it. I did the same thing, online, using the weight measurement they gave me (3.9kg), and it is £39.20. I measured the box as well. Even the next tier up is only £45.00 3 stars for the man warning me it's £81.00. 2 taken away for it being less than half the price online.
