I popped in because the place has such good reviews, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to the rating for me. It was very busy when we visited and the staff seemed quite stretched, so service felt a bit limited. I asked for the bagel to be served hot, but it came out cold and didn’t taste very fresh. I ordered the vegetarian bagel, which was quite dry, lacked flavour and small. For the price, I was expecting a bit more, so overall it was a little disappointing. That said, it may be better at a quieter time.
Simply outstanding bagels. Had the salt beef to eat in, and a pain au raisin. Coffee is solid. I also bought 6 to take away. Froze them to eat ad hoc. The flavour on the bagels is extraordinary. All the seasonings are good. I just wish this place was closer to where I lived.
First time trying slow rise bakery today and I got the salt beef bagel. The salt beef was amazing. This has definitely become my regular place.
A busy spot and I can see why ... the bagels are freshly baked and filled with amazing produce. Ive tried the chicken cesar and the salt beef and loved both! The everything bagel and salt pretzel bagel are delicious. It's a relatively small space so there us always a queue but we've always managed to get a table. The staff are so friendly and full of recommendations. Can't wait for my next visit.
Delicious bagels! There was a queue to get in (Sunday, 12pm) so you know it has to be decent. I might not like to eat in at that time as there was a constant stream of customers coming in which made it quite busy but I’m sure it’s lovely to sit when it’s more peaceful. We got the salt beef and the smoked salmon bagels. Some of the best we’ve had. Would recommend!
