I want to be clear that this review is not about all staff at this shop. I’ve visited before when a different member of staff was working, and he was polite, patient, and helpful — he explained things properly and made the experience completely fine. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at the parcel/post office counter with the same female staff member have been very different. On multiple occasions I haven’t been greeted, I’ve been cut off while speaking, and the staff member has walked away without explaining what she was doing. I was given rude looks throughout the interaction and felt dismissed. This behaviour seems to be directed particularly towards younger customers. My sister has had similar experiences and has been so uncomfortable that she’s needed to come in with an adult. Because of this, I now feel anxious about going in on my own. I understand that it can get busy, especially after school, but that doesn’t excuse repeated rudeness. The contrast between this staff member and others who have been kind and professional is very noticeable.

Great local off-licence with a wide range of drinks, including beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Prices are competitive and there are often good offers available. The staff are friendly, helpful.The shop is clean, well organised, and well stocked. Opening hours 7am-10pm everyday. Overall, a reliable and handy local store — would definitely recommend.
