Beautifully maintained adults only site. Large well spaced out large hard standing pitches all with electric hook up. Shower and toilets spotless and cleaned on a regular basis. 15 minute walk into the pretty town of Howden or use the Howden hopper which runs on a regular basis. Site is quiet and very friendly. A mix of seasonal and touring pitches.
Brilliant site , the wardens Kev and Wendy are lovely , friendly people. The site is kept spotlessly clean , being adults only there is no noise after 1pm you can hear nothing . Howden is a short walk or drive away . Pretty little place with cobbled streets and good shops restaurants and bars. Loved staying here will be back in the future. Andy and Babs.
This was our first ever touring caravan trip. Towing, setting up, living in the caravan. The owner was very helpful especially in view of our inexperience. The site is beautifully maintained with plenty of room around each caravan. We also met others on the site, lovely and friendly and one chap in particular went out of his way to offer help, and considering my husband is using crutches was very much appreciated. Thank you Brenda House, it was a pleasure, and we will look forward to staying again.
Another great week at Brenda House. This site is so clean, well looked after, great dog exercise field and very peaceful. Great site for exploring places of interest but ideally suited for those who want to relax. Owners Fiona and Neil along with and Kevin and Wendy (Wardens), will do all they can to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Second stay will be back for third very soon.
Nice little site ...adults only which is what we always look for and was greeted by the owners whom were very friendly..generously sized hardstanding pitches nice and flat ...couple of negatives which is why I only gave 4 stars, 1st one was the trains going by every 15min or so which kind of ruins the serenity but handy if you want a trip to York from there as you can get the train from the station just down the road. The 2nd was no heating in the showers/toilets 🥶..mid Feb not the time to be taking a shower here...Will return but probably in the summer...Weather was shocking as well but didn't let it ruin our weekend.
