A well looked after park which is great for picnics and just chilling.
Good for families and dog walkers alike. There is a nice kids playground with a picnic area close by. This is a well-kept park that has a lovely flat walk around the perimeter with some shade and a couple of shorter walks in the centre. There's lots of dog bins, so there's no excuse for dog walkers. There are plenty of benchs, so you can sit and enjoy being surrounded by beautiful fragrent trees and plants. Loved it, and we will return.
We came across this wonderful place on our way back from buying a puppy. Yesterday Ruby our 14wk cavapoo was allowed out. We visited The ashes what a lovely place, we met other people walking their dogs they were friendly and polite. Ruby loved it, and walked really good on her lead. There is also plenty of poo bins, the place was immaculate. Looks like it's our new place to walk Ruby.
I love my daily walk around the Ashes. Howden is blessed to have such a beautiful, green space.
Lovely playing fields space with good walks and facilities
