This church is a place of love and welcoming to all. It is at the hub of the town centre, and people of all kinds engage with the church on various levels. This is a church that celebrates diversity and community. It is open to visitors from around 10-4 on weekdays, whether to pray, light a candle or just look around. Weekly, there are 2 Sunday morning services, a Wednesday afternoon service which is usually followed by a bible study class, and occasional other events. The church holds a monthly "Rainbow Eucharist" aimed at the LGBTQI+ community and its allies, many of whom will struggle to overcome stigma and discrimination encountered from other religious fellowships.
Nice and tranquil church. Nice place to visit. Welcome is good.
It's a lovely church I go every week on a Thursday. Unfortunately this time I felt threatened and scared by the coloured lady who was cursing me while I was walking out of the church. I felt very scared I had thought the Church would be a safe place to go but unfortunately it is not . There should be someone at the church at all times . This has stopped me coming back . I hope something is done about it . What a world we live in .
The old church is a true masterpiece of architecture, standing proud with its timeless beauty. The stained glass windows, intricate carvings, and soaring ceilings are a testament to the artistry and devotion of those who built it. Despite its age, the church still serves as a holy place, filled with a peaceful aura that envelops all who enter. Whether you come to attend a service, reflect in solitude, or simply admire the stunning surroundings, a visit to this church is an unforgettable experience that leaves you feeling uplifted and inspired.
I love this church. I always go there to enjoy some peace and quiet and feel closer to God. I'm not great with people so luckily for me every time I've gone there has been nobody else in there. I think that actually may be God himself helping me feel more comfortable there. It really is a beautiful church.
