A safe place where African Caribbean elders and their support people can meet up to access health and welfare services for their specific needs. This includes Honeyzz Diabetes Support Group and Oasis Care Support Services. Regular Thursday group meetings provide a diverse of activities from dominoes games, bingo, craft making, friendly chats, walks, gentle exercise, inspirational and health related talks, hot caribbean food, and healthy snacks for a nominal fee. This is a fantastic place to catch up with old friends and to meet new ones too. It is a lovely support network with a friendly team of wonderful people, some of whom are volunteers. Pop in to see what Annette and the team can offer. The building is wheelchair accessible and also has its own kitchen where the Caribbean food is prepared. Parking can be accessed at Cambridge Road Car Park. This building is a short walk from Huddersfield Town Centre on a regular and frequent bus route with a bus stop right on the doorstep of the building.
