I am writing this review as a warning to others who may have to navigate the Huddersfield Family Court system. My recent experience was nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to share my story. After receiving a non-molestation order filled with false accusations, I was instructed to submit my witness statement to the judge if I wished to oppose it within 48 hours before the hearing. Despite the short notice, I managed to submit my statement five working days prior to the hearing, ensuring that I followed the court's guidelines of sending CCTV evidence via egress instead of the usual email or shared drive links. I even took the extra step of calling the office to confirm receipt of my evidence and emails, and sent my documents via Egress as they told me to on the phone so the judge can read it before the hearing. However, when the hearing date arrived, I was shocked to discover that the judge claimed he had not received my email or evidence! He refused to even consider my opposition, despite my efforts to provide it in a timely manner. I had brought a paper copy of my witness statement, which the judge did glance at, but deemed it invalid because I had not included a promise of truth. Meanwhile, the applicant's statement, which was riddled with false claims, was accepted without question. It's outrageous that the system seems to favor those who are willing to manipulate the truth and exploit the legal aid system. In my case, the applicant was able to secure free legal aid despite making fraudulent claims, while I was left to navigate the system on my own. The applicants solicitors are more than happy to lie on the applicants behalf because they are getting paid handsomly from the legal aid the applicant applied for whilst she is also fraudulently claiming government handouts as well! This is a joke and all backwards! The most disturbing aspect of my experience is that it has become clear that anyone can lie and fabricate evidence, and as long as they have a corrupt solicitor to back them up, they will be entertained by the court. The system is broken, and it seems that the judges are more interested in rubber-stamping false claims than seeking justice. It's a sad reflection of the state of our justice system, and I fear for the future of those who are forced to navigate this corrupt and biased system.

Do not use this court. I havnt even had my case heard yet. It is run by incompetence at its finest. I consistently over and over send in my documents and they are never filed. I have handed the files in via email three times. Once in person with my own hands which I recorded on video, to be told each time nothing has been recieved. Absolutely disgusting professionalism and then they have the audacity to charge for the service. I have seen primary school run and operating more effiecently.

Huddersfield Family Court and Magistrates Court Have unfortunately been Unprofessional and Bias with my case in my fair opinion I have been made to wait 10 Months to have my first opportunity to challenge a anti molestation order that had been placed on me while i was on holiday.... I had fully informed the court i was away on holiday So on my returned from holiday I attended the arranged hearing and the applicant did not attend..... And the Judge would NOT hear any evidence and ruled that the he had made while i was away on holiday should still stand.... Unbelievable Bias and unprofessional I am still now waiting 10 months later to have my first opportunity to give any evidence in this case and for it to be heard....🙄 Unbelievable..... The Family Court in Huddersfield does not know what they are doing possibly due to heavy workload.....!!! Good luck using them..... I have totally lost all faith in the legal system after my dealings this last 10 months with the Huddersfield Family Court and The Huddersfield Magistrates Court.... My official complaints have been brushed a side by the court Loads more thing have also happened too long to list..... Beware......!! Mr Jason Fogerty

Despicable! I've been dealing with Huddersfield County Court for the past 2 year now, and they are dreadful. Incompetent, unskilled to perform the basic of task. I've contacted them so many times to chase the progress of my case, requesting my case to be escalated and it never gets done. Despite having raised the same issues several times. And the Judge enjoy throwing cases back and forward instead of closing the chapter once a final decision is made. Instead they leave the case open giving the 3rd party to appeal despite enough evidence convicting them of the crime. Total nightmare and 2 years on, I'm still facing more of it.
