I recently had the pleasure of visiting Boy and Barrel, and I must say, Jaykob and Rhuben have truly transformed this place into something special! Their passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere is evident from the moment you walk in. Both Jaykob and Rhuben are incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure that every guest feels valued. Their knowledge of the menu is impressive, and they’re always eager to make recommendations based on your preferences. The atmosphere they’ve created is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a special celebration. It’s clear that they’ve put thought into every detail, from the decor to the layout, making it a comfortable space for everyone. Overall, Jaykob and Rhuben have taken Boy and Barrel to new heights, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you’re in for a fantastic experience!
We went early but the bar staff where lovely and chatty and it would be a fun place to visit if you went later on
All depends on what day & who is in the pub. Pub isn’t bad, the staff have always been alright to be fair. Just fellow customers ruin it The music is always BANGING tho

Was in Saturday after the Stereophonics gig, DJ was hopeless, requested a few tracks but kept just playing his reggae stuff, pub emptied fairly quickly, we went up the road to another who understood their audience, Great night there on in. Won't be back.
