Had my daughters 21st here. Absolutely perfect venue Staff and dj were fab and couldn’t do enough for us! Drinks were very reasonable… cocktails 2 4 £10 b4 9 and £14 after! Nice and strong Highly recommended and perfect central location
Had an amazing night here for my other half and his twins joint 30th!! Loads of space to fit everyone in with room to dance. Great atmosphere and loads of fun. The venue was really clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Cocktail deals were a hit and all other drinks were reasonably priced! Couldn’t have asked for a better place! We will be booking again!
I would not recommend this venue for hosting events. The party was very poorly managed, the DJ provided by the venue was unprofessional and completely failed to create a good atmosphere(can’t believe we were actually charged for the guy). To make matters worse, when I raised concerns and requested a refund of my deposit, the management refused. For the price charged, the quality of service and accountability were extremely disappointing. There are plenty of better venues out there that value their customers and deliver what they promise—this is not one of them.
Attended a private party on a Saturday 19th April. On arrival two of the five draught pumps were off. Asked for an IPA. That went off before the glass was half full. No other beer or ale option in the place. The remaining two lines, one cider, one lager ran out by 9pm. Not the staff’s fault, but no offer of how to resolve only having expensive bottles of average lager and cider to buy. I have sent a message to The Brick Works outlining my disappointment, but they have declined to reply. If I could, it would be a zero star review. I will not be returning.
Great venue. Nice atmosphere. Good music (for the first part of the night anyway), brilliant cocktails & friendly bar staff. We'd never been in before (I live in Hull but my best friend lives just outside Huddersfield) but we'll definitely come back on our next night out!
