The County Beerhouse

Still prefer the Sportsman for it's more extensive beer offerings but not a bad alternative and now has it's own cellar list to peruse! Good mix on offer, went for a sour on tap followed by one of the cans. Interior is very art deco, deserves to be a bit busier but not complaining as I like a quiet drink.

A fantastic wet led pub with exceptional service. 6 cask ales all sourced from Yorkshire on my visit. Look out for the innovative food events which appear to be held on a monthly basis - they look too good to miss.

Me and my partner booked out The County Beerhouse for our wedding reception and we can honestly say we are so happy with the choice we made. From the onset communication was impressive; any questions we had were answered the same day, with clear detail. Likewise, it felt like they made a conscious effort to make sure the process of planning was stress-free and as smooth as possible for us. On the day the staff were absolutely lovely, even putting the effort in to experiment with mocktails to make sure non-drinkers had fun too. We had an amazing time, and couldn’t recommend enough. Thanks for the amazing time.

Delicious beer on tap and a cozy environment. There's a small performance stage for live music and the bartender was really nice!

I just wanted to say I hired the pub for a do recently and it was the best venue! Communication great, welcoming and attentive staff, amazing food (with the ability to deal with dietary requirements with no fuss). And of course great beer! Honestly it was perfect! Thank you
