If Mary Poppins opened a café, it would be Alison’s practically perfect in every way, but with more ham. I popped in expecting “just a sandwich,” and left emotionally attached to a ham salad with extra onion and no tomatoes that understood me better than most people do. The ham was thick, the salad was crunchy, and the bread? Fluffy enough to double as a pillow in case of snack-induced nap emergencies. Then came the homemade cornflake bun. I don’t know who Alison is, but she’s clearly a baking witch because that bun was a hug in snack form. Sweet, crunchy, and confidently retro, like something your nan made before everyone started pretending sugar was evil. 10/10 would sandwich again. Quiche me, Alison, you’ve got yourself a fan. 🥪✨

Always friendly, always smiling and their cookie dough slices are to absolutely die for! I would leave a picture but unfortunately there are only crumbs left. I pop in most days for my lunch and I am never disappointed especially with their selection of sweet treats.

Went in with a friend and wasn't going to have anything until I saw and smelled the freshly cooked bacon! The people serving were so friendly and chatty. Loved my thickly sliced, freshly cooked bacon sandwich on a fluffy fresh tea cake. Definitely will be back.
