Me and my partner have been in twice now, on both occasions the food was absolutely spot on 👌 cooked to perfection.. Jamaican chicken curry is out of this world 👌👌 owners are lovely, very welcoming and it's a beautiful cafe. Will definitely be a regular visit from us
Super accommodating and friendly staff. Came in for some breakfast but stomach wasn't feeling up for a full meal, they happily gave me a non-menu item so that I could still enjoy my food. Also added items for a friend and just generally really friendly. Can tell everything is top notch ingredients and made from scratch, breakfast sandwiches looked amazing! Definitely will be back, the name is fitting
Here currently for the Grand Northern Ukulele Festival. On the way back to our hotel we were feeling hungry after a busy day. We came upon the sign Hidden Gem café. As the saying goes it does exactly as it says on the tin, it's a hidden gem, just off the main path. Food good value, wholesome and home made which is easy to see due to the lovely taste.... Hosts are very polite and friendly and show a genuine interest in their customers which is why I'd recommend them to anyone without a hesitation. We may even be there for a sneaky breakfast tomorrow (Ssshhhh don't tell anyone it's my secret place, a hidden gem)!
Lovely little cafe. Coffee was one of the best I have had! Food cooked to liking… I had a bacon sandwich the only fault I would pick is that the bread was not buttered but perhaps that’s personal taste and I know to ask in future. Staff very friendly and accommodating would definitely visit again!
Had lunch here: delicious sandwiches with tasty, fresh salad. Lovely coffees. Friendly service
