Carné Steakhouse - HMC Halal

I'll start off with the good as we were left a little disappointed with the food. The service and decor were both brilliant. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't all bad. The one thing they should excel at, which is in the name, is steak. Unfortunately it wasn't up to the standards we were expecting. We ordered the T-bone Steak and it looked amazing on the surface. When we started to dig in to it, we noticed that the thicker parts of the cut were chewy and red, indicating that it wasn't cooked properly. No doubt the thickness of the steak contributed to this. The parts that were cooked were very tasty. We just wished the whole steak was like that. On the plus side, the Lamb Chops and the Beef Burger were both delicious. The burger was juicy and flavourful and the chops were nicely grilled and meaty, with a hint of seasoning. The quality of the meat was such that any additional flavouring would have taken away from the taste. Service was also excellent. We were nicely greeted and the waiters were attentive and polite. The decor was classy and there is a fairly large on-site car park. We'd definitely come back for a different cut of steak. If our next experience is better, my review will be updated accordingly.

We recently discovered this steakhouse, and it has become one of our favorite spots. This was our third visit, and we even celebrated our wedding anniversary here. My husband absolutely loves their meat, and we could almost come here every day! I’ve enjoyed everything on the menu, trying different dishes each time, but I highly recommend the lamb chops - they were fantastic! The ambiance is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. There’s also a lovely park area around the place. Everything about this place is amazing!

Visited this absolutely beautiful eatery today with my family and hands down I can say the whole experience was absolutely outstanding. Firstly the place was modern, clean and nicely decorated. Seating was very comfortable. The service was 10/10, staff constantly checking in on us. The food was amazing , very nicely presented and the flavours were sensational. Drinks also were full of flavour and beautiful presented. The owner was really nice and pleasant to speak to. I would definitely be back for another visit

The star of the show for me was the Blue Ocean mocktail—refreshing, vibrant, and the perfect balance of flavors. It set the tone for an exceptional meal. The chicken wings were an absolute revelation—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. My son couldn’t stop raving about the sirloin steak, which was cooked exactly to his liking. Paired with creamy mashed potatoes and a rich mushroom sauce, it was a hit from the first bite. The BBQ chicken melt was another standout, with tender chicken smothered a delicious cheesy goodness with a tangy BBQ sauce that left us wanting more. Bison’s Steak House has truly captured the essence of Texas dining. If you’re in Huddersfield, make sure you pay them a visit—you won’t be disappointed!

Good quality, tasty food. Order was taken pretty quickly and the food was cooked and served on the table quicker than we knew it.
