Ordered on Christmas Day and spent over £70. Food arrived and two curries had opened and leaked, splitting the bag and going all over the other meals which meant half wasn't able to be eaten due to people not liking / dietary requirements weren't able to be met for certain people because of the curries going everywhere. Contacted JustEat who have been absolutely zero help for massively out of pocket using this place for Christmas meals.

Drove 50 minutes for this place because of the hype. Turns out the hype is the only thing with flavour here. The restaurant looks like it’s been preserved for historical purposes. Very dated decor. Zero ventilation. The open kitchen pumps out spice fumes so strong my eyes started watering before the menus arrived. Came for dinner, left with sinus damage. Ordered two Tawa platters for 4 for 10 people. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment: • Chicken: so dry it needed moisturiser • Lamb: seasoned with absolutely nothing • Donner: thick, rubbery, and emotionally empty I genuinely don’t understand how this place is famous. I’ve had Bradford takeaways at 1am that cook better food with one eye closed. This wasn’t just bad, it was confusingly bad. And just to complete the experience, they’ve got little kids running around as waiters, clearly lost and winging it. Not their fault, but it sums the place up perfectly. Long drive. Watery eyes. Dry meat. Zero flavour. This place survives on nostalgia and delusion. Won’t be returning. Ever.

This place is our go to place for the best curry, dinner meat and chips. Also started to serve pizzas, I’m not normally a pizza guy but the pizza I had from here was delicious, the dough was really soft and the toppings were flavoursome. Not like your normal no taste, feel like your chewing on rubber pizzas!
