Haven’t been in a while, but the new refurbishment is absolutely stunning. Ansar and Roy made our visit truly special, going above and beyond to cater to every need.
We went to Lalas for a family meal and as ever, the experience was outstanding. Just when you think it couldn't get any better, this restaurant surpasses itself every time. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The decor is modern and attractive. The owner came in and made an effort to speak to us. We told him we don't go anywhere else and that I had my first curry there. We can't wait to go again and try something new from the menu.
Ordered for delivery. Chicken masala desi style. One word YUM it packed so much flavour. You need to sell the masala sauce oh dip chips in omg that would be heaven. In fact I'm personally going to go in one day and ask if they can do this. The flavour in that masala sauce was out of this world. I just want a huge tub of it. Chicken tikka pieces were yummy too.
We were a party of eight having a xmas works do. Booked in for 7.30pm. From arriving to leaving the hospitality we recieved was amazing. Shawan and his colleagues could not do enough for us. Initially we were sat upstairs and we were cold, as it was a Monday evening it wasn't busy so no bodies generating heat, but that was no reflection of the establishment. Immediately they moved us downstairs into a smaller, warmer area where the service continued 100 %. The food was fantastic and a lots of it, and most of us came away with doggy bags. The facilities were spotlessly clean but definitely need your glasses on to find them the decor is very dark. Overall, amazing place, fabulous staff and fantastic food and most definitely will be going back.
Unfortunately had to leave before mains arrived but got everything boxed up promptly. The food was immaculate and will definitely be returning.
