The food was absolutely delicious, brautifully presented and served. It was easily the best curry that I have ever had in the Huddersfield and surrounding area.
I flew into England yesterday for a family wedding, staying in Fixby and had to have wander round our old stomping ground of Cowcliffe. We were enticed by the smells from The Spice Garden so popped in and ordered a takeaway which was ready as promised in 20 minutes. What can I say? Amazing flavours, different dishes on the varied menu, generous portions, freshly made but overall a real sense of satisfaction from the service provided by the very helpful young man who helped us with our order to the meal as presented. Plus very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend 👌
So I've just been to spice garden at The Shepherds Arms and I can't recommend it enough. I started with the sundries tray of mint sauce, mango, lime pickle and a mixed chutney with poppadoms. Absolutely delicious. Then followed with Seekh kebab. It was freshly cooked and the perfect mix of spices. I then had lamb dopiaza. It was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked, accompanied with a beautiful naan, the perfect combination of soft and crispy. I will definitely be going back and back again.
First visit to the restaurant which has been open just over a week or so. Food and service were excellent. Would definitely return and recommend without hesitation to anyone who is considering visiting.
The food was really good my partner and I really enjoyed all the courses we had. The waiter service was good and we will be going again.
