Hangry Hut

I order half grilled chicken with rice and first of all service was really good and the food is amazing for the price! 11/10 would recommend to anyone who is planning on visiting.

I went to Hangry Hut the other day and the staff was ok, and the overall service was ok. The pizza was very good but the the side options like chips and chicken wings were very bad. The chips tasted very greasy and oily and the chicken wings tasted overcooked and lacked some flavors. I had to rinse my mouth quickly with a drink to remove those tastes. I am not recommending people to not try the chicken wings in there but the pizza is good.

Ordered through Just Eat. Got a message after 30mins to say it was ready - this was at 11.45pm. We don’t walk out with the food until 12.10am. It was really slow, other people, and Uber/just eat collections were waiting too and weren’t too impressed with waiting. There was only one guy doing it all and then another walked in around 12. So I really felt for him, but surely on a Friday night you would make sure there are at least 2! Just after walking in we watched our pizzas go in the warmer and our fried food was done and just sat in the basket. Which was cold and over cooked. We didn’t realise it was ours until it was all handed over. The garlic mayo was out of a huge tub tucked next to the fryer. So nice and warm! The cheesy chips had barely any cheese on, the garlic mayo was inedible, and after watching where they got it from it put us off. The “garlic” and tomato pizza was just cheese and tomato, really bland and wasn’t very warm by the time we got it. We heard the milkshakes being made within a minute or so of walking in, by the time we got them they were warm too, as they had been sat there. We made comments over the time we waited and in hindsight should have complained, I suppose we were hopeful it would be tasty, and knew any replacements etc they need to make would have us waiting there about 20 minutes. Maybe it was just an off night! Overall we are really disappointed as we aren’t local and went off the reviews - which looked ok and were 4+ stars out of 5.

I orderd 2 Donna kebabs With garlic naanbread and both of them where supposed to have lettuce onion and mayo as you can see in the photos, my kabab has hardly anything in it never mind lettuce, onions, or mayo and I disnt get 2 Kebabs I just got a tray of Donna meat!!!! Then the lady on the phone said she’ll sort it out if she gets another delivery this way, she did not seem bothered unstated, it was only her working when I asked for a manager which means she knowingly sent the food out like this and I can’t have my money back 🤷‍♂️
