We were so excited to try this place as we love thai food. We ordered 2 x portion of spring rolls 1 x portion prawn toast and 1 x portion of sticky rice. Spring rolls: these were all pastry and noodles no vegetables ( not like the name suggests) Prawn Toast: over cooked and soggy Sticky rice: where do i start the rice should have been called NO NAILS rice as it was solid and we struggled to break it apart. The food was only like warm when it arrived too. We found Taipian takeaway to be very expensive too for what we ordered was near £25. All in all we won't be rushing to order from here again 😒
Fried vegetable starter was very good. Stir fry main was better value for money than the curry, but both were delicious. Will go again.
Chose this place based on previous good reviews and given it wasnt cheap i had expectations it would be decent. Food was late to arrive. When it did it was cold. Also ended up with stomach cramps for 2 days. Won't ever go back. Example of a £6 chicken satay in the photo.
Normally love this place but tonight we didn’t even have half size portions and the veg spring rolls didn’t have any veg in it (just batter and noodles).
First time that we have had food from here and we'll definitely be going back regularly. Staff were very courteous and efficient in taking the order over the phone and the food was ready at the specified time (it was a collection order). On return home, we unpacked generous portions of food many of which were in environmentally friendly containers. We had a number of starters (fish cakes, sweetcorn fritters & tempura prawns) along with Tom Yam soup, Som Tam salad and Pad Thai. All were excellent quality and matched what you would expect from a good restaurant. The price was very reasonable as well considering the quantity and quality of the food. If you like Thai food then make sure you try this place - I'm sure you'll like it as much as we did.
