Busy car park with horrifically clunky or broken ways to pay. I visited this car park, and it was full, so ended up parking on a bay on the street for an hour and a half and then I had to move my car, at which point there was some space in the car park. However, I didn’t have any cash on me , so there was only one machine in the car park that took cards. Two machines took cash. However, the card payment method wasn’t working on the only card machine. I tried paying by phone and because I’ve never had an account before and it’s all voice automated. It took me 15 minutes to enter the details for my Card payment method and finally my car. In the end I had to abandon it and download the app which is much quicker and faster. My advice would be, don’t rely on there. being availability at this car park and pay by cash if you can. If you only have the card then it’s worth downloading the app even if you’re never going to park there again. The app was easy to use and pretty quick. The phone line was frankly painful. Otherwise, it was good value and wide range of parking hour options.
